USE ONLY THE VALETRAIN THAT IS THE SAME BRAND. (sorry, caps for emphasis) Really, stick with the skunk2 valvetrain. For stage2s id go with valves, valve springs and retainers.

i heard portflow/itr were adequate but spend a lil more and get the same manufacture as the cams.

Yep, Ive got port flow ti retainers, with ITR outers and port flow inners. They are not in yet but Ive heard good things. A gentle men a talked to said with just that setup his engine handled 9000 rpm shifts and a mis shift once to almost 10,000 rpm.

you'll be looking at about 1000-1300 for the whole set (cams, cam gears, valves, retainers, and springs) so make sure you have a lot change

A friend of mine has a gsr head, pnp, 5 angle valve, skunk2 everything (including manifold), The cames are 2s. (for $1000) i know this isnt the classifieds, but this 0 mile head thats basicall built to the top could save you money in the long run.
