sir fogs part 1
well i found them.. as some of you know.. the yellow SIR fogs (for a while i was not even sure if they existed.. )$350 bucks later.. i think its pretty fair.. the instructions were in japanese so instalation was fun.. this is part one because i JUST got the oem switch so they are not powered yet.. just installed.. they should be lit by tonight.. take a look let me know what you think.. [technical] anyone know how well these perform, and what kind of light output i should expect? [/technical] i snapped a few pics of them installed.. will shoot a few more once they function..
[technical] anyone know what kind of replacement bulb these get? size wise [/technical]

Re: (dantastic)
well maybe.. but the harness is not preattached.. so it fit fine...it plugs into a plug under the hood.. so i guess if my car was RHD it would have just been flip flopped not differant lengths.. its funny because in the instructions where it tells you to install the switch (i think everything IS in japanese) they show a RHD dash and steering wheel.. lol
i paid 350 because they are real.. and IMHO pretty rare.. so im happy with the buy

I think they were available, except they offer them in clear lenses as oppose to yellow.

Re: (oc_civic)
they look hella nice! I just bought the replicas on ebay a few months ago. It looks like the OEM fit better. Take some pics of them on at night, I wanna see how the yellow lens looks. I am running some piaa h3 ion bulbs, they look yellow from up close but at different distances they have a diff color.

Replicas go for about 100 bucks on ebay. And it was mentioned above... sometimes the fogs look really good, sometimes not. I'm getting them for my EK soon, it's also VSM. I hope it turns out as good as those. Do you mind if I ask where you got your hands on those?? I might be interested in the real deal ones too.

i appreciate that.. especially because you lost your car.. but to be honest... i guess because im a dumb ***.. my car has been posted MANY times online and is even on a site as a featured car with plates in view.. the amount of work to just blur these would be minimal.. but if someone wanted to find pics of my car online they could.. i guess what im saying is thieves are ********.. and if they want it bad enough they will come... i can only hope that its never taken.. it pretty much never leaves my site.. and is parked VERY close to the house.. and where we live it would be pretty tough to take it... in fact now that i think about it.. dmv's address and where i live are not even the same place.. so that would make it even harder..
thanks for the suggestion i DO appreciate it

Re: (cre18)
I would seriously consider investing in some sort of glass protection film for the fogs. At the price you paid for them, it would be a shame for them to get smashed from road debris. I love them though, too bad my friend with an EK prefers round fogs to the ones you have.

Naw I dont think u need that. The fogs' glass should be tempered, and it should resist common road debris. Well, unless someone has a bat or drops huge *** rocks in front of your car while driving, i dont think u have to worry.
