Sir Doors on Ek Hatch
hi, ive been searching but couldent find the answer. I have a 98 Ek hatch, someone is selling me SIR doors with floor harnest. Is it possiable to install it on my hatch? swap out my old doors, bolt these sir ones on and wire it? simple is that or do i have to take the parts out from the SIR and add them into my own doors.

also did the make an SiR 4 door? I don't think so but if they are from a 4 door i don't think they will fit. if it's from a coupe or hatch ek it shouldn't be a problem.

i think its from a 2 door coupe. if it does fit, and all i need to do is bolt the doors on and wire it, i might go ahead and buy myself those doors. Instead of going with the aftermarket power window kit. My windows are currently broken at the moment too, wont roll all the way up.

I'm putting my 97 HX Coupe doors on my 96 DX Hatch so I can have power windows/mirrors/locks.
You need the doors (with all the wires for the switches that should be attatched)
3 20amp fuses
The main relay thing for the power windows (idk the part number off hand)
and the floor harness that goes from door to fuel pump to ebrake to door.
If you have a DX hatch and want to keep your rear wiper, you'll need to salvage the mint green and mintgreen with stripe wires (i think) from your DX harness. otherwise it's just plug and play. good luck, and post progress. I'll be doing the same.

280 for full sir doors with inside panels and harness. Does that seem reasonable? And another thing is. How can i test it or something to know the doors are working? and as for the door locks, am i able to switch the key holes so i can open and unlock my door?
