Is this a sign of a thief?
I had a ad posted up on a forum on the internet selling some of my parts and this guy says he's interested in buying it. And he asked me for an address and i gave it to him and my phone number to. And on the days he said he would come by to buy it, but he never shows up. And he's been doing it for 3 days. Is he really a serious buyer or is he just scoping out for the perfect time to steal from me?
help, please!

Set him up. Tell him you are going out of town this weekend and come back in a friends car and watch for him to come to your place that night.
If he's a thief, he'll show up.

I wouldnt of gave them my address. I would have just told them to meet me somewhere in my area. Or, he could just be a flaker

Yea. Wouldn't have given out my home address or phone number.

I guess this is an eye opener since we have to give strangers are address all the time when we buy parts from them, guess we got to be more carefull now a days.

Safest thing is to meet in a public place unless if your house is very secure. Phone numbers have to be given in order to get in contact with people when your making a deal.
