whats the problem?
you have to remove the cover on the inside where the adjuster comes through. (somtimes easier to take off the door pannel first) Then once you get that off its like 2 or 3 screws.

the black trim things just pop off. you don't HAVE to take off the door panel, but it helps. i pulled mine back a little bit at the top when i did my mirrors, and it worked just fine. although i had to use an open end wrench to get at the nuts. and once you have the nuts off, the mirror might still be held in by the adjustor thing. mine were power and held in still by the electrical connector, not sure how they are on manual mirrors. anyway, it's an easy job and shouldn't take you more than 45 minutes if you're taking your time. btw, what mirrors are you putting on?
