Default which side is left ?

i want to order a new front driver side shock fork for my 94 civic. i was looking at majestic honda. they specify left and right. is the left one the one i am looking for ? also i believe this part is the same for all civic from like 88 -00 is this correct. thanks

Hold out your hands, palms away from you and point your thumbs at each other. The side that forms an "L" with your thumb and pointing finger is the left.

ya I think he's aware which side his left and right are I think he was enquiring about wheter that's from inside or looking at the front.
