Default SI and ZC hybrid Tranny / Transmission questions

ok i tried to search but theres so many combinations to search for ex tranny tranmssion , zc , d15 , d15b , d16z6 , d16 , sohc, ect ect. and what i found is the thing about effin motorsports d series hybrid tranny which makes
http://effinmotorworks.com/Eff...s.htm

ok so what i got is a SI tranny with a messed up third, and an OK 2nd . I was wondering if i purchased a ZC tranny what would i have to do to put the 1-4th gears into my SI tranny. What would i need to replace, or what would i need to rebuild ( sncros , bearings etc.) how much would those things cost. Im getting the zc tranny for $100. Also would it matter if i got the tranny from a dohc ZC or sohc ZC.

or would it be better to just buy a d15b tranny and screw the hassle of having the best of both worlds LOL

thanks alot guys

oh and the si tranny is off a 92-95 civic , not 88-91

Check out my garage sale and bump it hehe.

I do many types of hybrids

I can go up on ALLDATA and get some diagrams and do some comparisons.....the only thing is that I can only get schematics for USDM vehicles so I do not know if the 89 Acura Integra transmission will be the same dimension wise.....I do not see why it would be though

what year SI tranny do you have (I am guessing a hydro tranny)

I'd just like to find where to buy gear sets w/o the whole tranny. It seems like it would end up being pretty expensive buying all of thse trannys, other wise I would build one too. I've looked at Bones' site more times than I can count., it's just finding the damn gears....

WHat ZC tranny is it?

Cable or hydro. I am not sure if the cable/hydro internals are interchangeable...

BUT,

I did do a CX 1st and 2nd, with a ZC3rd, CX 3rd as 4th, and a ZC5th gear with 4.25 FD- a road racing tranny with a nice long 2nd gear.

Only modifications I had to do was grind down the spacer collar for 3rd/4th gears.

Remember you need the inout AND counter gear for each set
