I would get an EX but not do a si swap that's pointless. If you plan on doing other than SI INT and get another than a B16 (Such as ITR or CTR) Than I would go for EX but I would get my si and keep it minty simple

Yeah, I would keep my Si all original. Motor, suspension, interior. I would change out the seat to some Recaros. Si seats way too high and is uncomfortable. I want an Si now. I think I want to trade my EH B18c1 for a CLEAN Si.

My em1 has a clean title and now has an itr swap. If ur looking to just bolt and play go si. If ur looking into heavy mods go ex. Just get si front lower control arms there bigger than ex

I've owned several ej8 coupes & I personally never seen the hype behind the "Si" badge. Like one person has stated its all in the person. I personally prefer an Ex over the "Si" more colors to chose from

This subjective.....it depends on price. I bought a clean title EM1 with 100K for only $4400. It's not like i could have bought a lower model and modded it to the same level for the same cost/

As far as colours, depends on where you live. In Canada where i am, my em1 is oem vogue silver

Like Deetz said, this is subjective. I own an EM1. Bone stock (suspension, motor, etc.). I have owned it for 3 years and still love it. It still amazes me how everyone asks me if its for sale, or other honda owners looking at my when im driving. Many times what happens is that if you dont get the SI and you modify your EX somehow (lets say with a b16 swap, cosmetics accesories, etc.) you get the question "is that an SI?" That should say something...

This is all opinionated might I add. So IMO.

-Just saying- There's a reason why so many ppl want to make their Civics look like an "Si"... the hype? Stock B16 instead of a D16, 4 disc brakes, Si Gauge Cluster (everybody wants it), painted front lip and side skirts, wheels... I bought my clean Electron Blue EM1 for $3500 with a clean title. -Just saying-

I payed $3500 for my clean title EM1. 80k miles. The bad. Had a junk body kit. It was cracked and loose, no front bumper support. Lowered to the point to where the shocks are shot. And a Sublime green paint job that is chipping. Im putting it back to stock look as we speak.
