Si radio console into 96-98 civic
My friend came up with an idea for his 96 civic, about putting the 99 Si's center dash area into his 96 civic DX. We were both trying to remember if they are the same overall size... we can't quite remember (which is dumb since we've both installed radio's into a ton of 96-98 and 99-00 civics). Aside from the wiring, are there any size differences? The locations where the 8mm bolts go isn't a concern.. just physical size

It will fit, but if you're talking about swapping the whole climate control and everything over it's a tedious job.

we figured the wiring would be some work, but with both of our backgrounds it wouldn't be a problem. Now the mechnical side is a different story since neither of us have very many fabriation tools when it comes to metal and such. Atleast knowing it will fit is a start. Thanks!
