he was right but I have seen people do it the reason it wont fit is because of the plugs they are different but all you have to do is look up the colors of the wires and match them up but the thing that still will not work is the hot/cold setting because in our year (1996-1998) it is manual and for the 99 it works with a motor but then again you can just leave it on hot before you take out ur old climate control and install the new one

yeah I think you can just adjust it hot or cold by hand and thats how it will stay but the way that its adjusted by the 96-98 climate control is by a cable you can leave it on and hide it and when ever u need to adjust all u have to do is pullon the cable

Im not sure how they differ. the 99-00 are controlled electrically and the 96-98 is mechanically controlled. You can use a heater core from an 99-00 civic.

ummm... kinda, i mean same championship white, carbon fiber lip, and hood... the thing is that my car just came from body shop... i had no pictures and the closest i could find to my car, but it used to look like that, i had to replace the whole front clip minus the motor... it's cool tho it's worth it in my eyes, but i got the amber foggies, hid's, side markers, rain guards and carbon fiber to replace... air bags blew so i said what the expletive and just decided to redo the whole interior, i might have to sell it cause it starting to cost too much so thats why i want the ac and heater to work properly...
