i have a 2000 si with 80,000 m and this guy with a 98 M3 that has 112,000 wants to trade me for my car and i give him 2000 boot..worth it?

it doesnt sound too bad of a deal but if you have to give him $2000 and the si ,,i personally wouldnt do the trade..just my opinion..i had a ek coupe with si everything and i sold it with rims ,sytem,etc for $6000 and bought a 97 5 series and men ,,,that dam car gave me problems from day 1 till i got rid off it..i had to trade it for a 01 yamaha r6..so i think stay with the si since you could fix any future problems on it or even kno sum 1 who knows honda's...

yeah my dad has a 330i and if something goes wrong he had to pay out the a to fix it, but according to this guy he hasnt had any major problems outta this m3, and that car will scooot haha, but if i keep my car i could turbo it so idk for sure yet, but thanks for the help

i personally would stay with the si ..if you were to do the trade ,,really check the bmw ,interior working properly,engine,tranny,etc..these bmw usually have a overheating problem or other stupid sh** that go wrong

Nice, you skip school a lot too haha. Those m's sell for 9k+ all the time in good shape and scotts is in great shape. For those who want to chime in, its white with a re-done interior, i dont think the wheels are stock but im not sure they do have bmw center caps though, it has a 3.2L of course i think the ecu may have even been re-flashed, and has strut bar up front and other stuff

sounds like a good trade..but keep maintenance costs in mind. Being a German car they're a big more packed in to work on and tricky to find parts for. The M is a fantastic ride, and that body style is boss. 2000 si's are more common a lot less fun to drive. I'd say if you can swing the $2k and have some $$ left over for the little things you won't see, then go for it.
