Default Should i buy it or not?

hey guys, i need your advice.. im lookin at a 99 Hatch DX w/ 48,000miles. it has a cf hood w/ vent, 16" rota slipstrems, short shifter, and some no-name coil-overs, good body, decent int. he askin 8,500. is that a good deal or what do you think is a good price?

edit never mind i thought it said 96 that's a good deal IMO

he took me for a ride and he wouldnt get on it very hard at all, personally i think hes scared of drivin fast or something. i really doubt hes even raced it.

take it for a ride by yourself, and lay on it. i doubt that if he has those mods(though none are really performance) on his car, he would be scared of driving fast.

That's actually a good deal. My gf paid $10k for a 00 at our local Honda dealership.

Pull the spark plugs and see if they are yellow ;x If they are, don't buy it.
