short shifter

Default short shifter

I'm tring to put in a short shifter and it isnt immediately intuitive. Im in a 99 civic si. Do I have to take apart my tranny to get the stock shifter out and the new one in? any tips?

No u dont have to take off the tranny. Its like a 20min job tops. Shifter is attached to linkage, its not in the trans. U maybe thinking about some rear wheel drive american cars.http://www.jdmfan.com/technica...ifter/
