Shift Linkage Removal
Whats up...yesterday as i was driving and my shiftlinkage came loose due to a bad bushing and in the process it got bent well I managed to get one from a B16 del Sol but now i cant disconnet it from the tranny...from what i read you have to take the pin out but do i hit it from the top or can i hit it from the bottom and what do u guys rcomend I use?

If you have a nail punch it should work. I don't remember how we got mine out when I replaced the clutch, but I know it was a not easy. I think I used a nail punch. I can't remember what it's called, but it's what finish carpenters use on trim nails. Except obviously you'd use a bigger one.
And don't forget to buy a new pin.
