Default Seeker Wing troubles with Alex Brackets(replica) EK hatch owners help

Hey I have a problem installing Alex Brackets replica on my Seeker wing.
Here is where I bought the Alex Brackets..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ALEX-BRACKETS-st...item2a00136637

when I asked the seller if it would fit my wing he said it would fit a ek9 CTR wing.
so if the mounting points are right it would fit.

after attempting to install these brackets the mounting points were accurate and the brackets fit for both sides, but I believe that the angle of either the base or the actual wing is off so here is some pics of the install.
Im sure that the angle of the mounting point is what threw off the brackets because when I allign one side to fit the other side is almost off by an inch.

Im pretty sure that I have a seeker replica, but what is going on? the wing? the base? or brackets?

any help, suggestions, tips would be appreciated. thanks.

slot the holes in the base bracket, looks like the bracket is not far enough inboard.

thats a good suggestion, but the thing is the side has the two holes in those same spots if i slot the holes in the base bracket I would have to bondo holes and new ones..
I was thinking about bending the both brackets to angle it but still hesitant on that idea.

just slot the top bracket and bottom bracket that way the come closer together. If not just get some spacers from lowes and longer bolts. Add spacers and bolt together, they sell nylon ones so you can cut them to fit.

yes those spacers would work, just put them in there where the bolt does not line up and bolt together.

really?? a dremel? I mean my friend has one but do you need a top of line heavy duty one? or what type of Tip do you use? I just can't see how a dremel can cut through that thick of metal?

If you put spacers, it's going to look wack. But, I can take them off your hands for $50 if you'll like

i got a weld grinding tip for my dremel. Its a cone shape. Im pretty sure it would slot them. Id deff try to slot first, but if all else fails, using spacers would work for the time being.

Or use a drill press, and keep slotting the hole with what ever size bit you need.
