i was thinking about heading to the junk yard to maybe find some seats for my del sol. i want something leather. do any of you have some pics of other car oem seats? i was thinking like maybe an MR2 or something. i know this will require custom mods, but i was just seeing what was out there? thanks

id like more of a bucket. those do look good though. are there any other seats that i might find at a junkyard that would work and be "sporty"

You may find something nice. Some 88-91 CR-X Si seats (made by Recaro) are pretty nice, and you may find something out of an older junked porche (944 or 922 or something). Other than that, there's not too many options as far as sporty factory seats out there.

Most newer cars like that get sold outright from junkyards as a whole, at least where I live.

gsr seats are too high. i had them in for a day. i was looking through the top of the window. the del sol are the perfect height. or lower would be better

Re: (the.hamburglar)
I put a set of crx seats into a del sol once. it was a very tight fit. had to sit them in the car, and SHOVE! you will actually have to squish the bolsters on the crx seats.
modding the mounting brackets is not something I'd do again either, a huge PITA! All 4 del sol sliders had to be drilled and seperated from the mounting brackets, and then all 4 crx sliders have to be drilled and seperated. you have to do this because the mounting points on the seat pans are different between the seats.
also, the del sol seat mounting holes in the car aren't the same width. you need to make some brackets to go between the slider and mounting brackets so you can make up for the mounting width difference.
and then there's the seatbelt issue. they don't move freely like they used to.
the crx seats are comfy though.

S2000 seats are gonna be your best bet for a quality leather seat.. idk if you ever read HONDA TUNING but they featured a Sol with them..very clean..and you can buy brackets specifically to do this swap..yeah the cost will be a little bit more but itll be worth it IMO
