Seatbelts jammed??

ok i bought a couple seatbelts from someone on here and when i went to install them i didnt have enough slack to get it all bolted down..how can i get slack on the belt or is it locked permanetly?? this is for a 96-00 civic..thanks

If you bought OEM seatbelts, you must put the seatbelt in the corresponding seat. They are directional seats, they should be marked with an L or an R.

i know that..what im saying is its liked the seatbelt strap is locked so i have no play in it to install it

rear right? or front, what you do is acutally bolt them in and then it will give you slack, Ive been through this. Trust me. Install the base( the reel) and then it will give.
