seat rail for aftermarket seats
Hey guys, i'm looking into getting a single racing seat and since I don't need the slider portion (I keep my stock seat all the way back and only I drive the car) I figure getting a custom rail made would do the trick, something like my ghetto drawing below.
Mount the rail to the car, mount the seat (bottom mount) to the rail using grade 8 or higher bolts and thick steel for the rail...sound about right?
I'd just have to measure well to ensure the seat is mounted straight and at the right distance for me to the pedals/wheel.
