Seat install question...
Does anyone have any idea's on how to mount my seat on stock rails??? They don't make a kit for it and I want to be able to slide back and forth in it! Here are some pictures of it It's a MOMO Acropolis seat. If I can't think of a way to put it in there I think I might sell it for $750. So any potential buyer's also? Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: Seat install question... (SilverCivic2k)
i thought they made seat rails you can buy.
Also, I was told I could sell it for $800 so I figured $750 would be nice but if you can get it for cheaper then I will reconsider my price... but hey, I might not even be selling it.

does the seat have bottom mount fasteners/threaded inserts?
My Sparco did, I bolted that to a 2"x1/4" aluminum bar that was then bolted to the oem civic rails/sliders.
Sits a half inch lower than the stock civic seat.
Able to leave the oem seatbelt buckle on the rails/sliders also.
Has oem adjustability and durability.

They are side mounts. I was thinking maybe just sell it and get a Sparco but it's sooooo light and soooo pretty!!! I don't know what to do, I am getting pretty frustrated with it

I'd head over to a race fab shop and see what they can do with it. (ie one that works on porsches and misc road race cars) Might cost some $$$ but if you have a c/f race shell, you can probably afford that right?

Re: Seat install question... (SlippylesKB)
what if you used owen's idea, and just used L brackets or a long U bracket like this:
l SEAT l
i'm sure that doesn't look very good, but you grasp the concept, right?
