Default Sea Foam Trans-Clean?! Not SF engine cleaner. Anyone tried it?

While browsing through the new Autozone in my town (YES, AUTOZONE, NOT NAPA. ) I came across Sea-Foam Trans-Clean. Apparently it triples up as a trans/brake system/rack+pinion system flush/cleaner. Directions are simply drop 1/2-1 pint of this into your trans, and drive for 5-10 minutes, making sure to shift into every gear. Then do a fluid change on the trans.

Its supposed to clean gum/tarnish/buildups much like the engine cleaner version. Anyone tried it? Anyone even heard of it? I was just suprised to see the Sea-Foam, because I was under the impression only Napa carried it, no less to see SF Transmission cleaner.

Got some primer/high temp enamel and brake cleaner to clean up my new brake parts for my rear disk swap while I was there.

But isn't it only for Automatic transmissions? I've seen it at Advance.

The machnisms involved with manual and automatic transmissions are completely different. It will probably work - as in not break anything - but I doubt you'll notice nearly as much of a difference in your manual tranny as you would in an auto.
