#'s ontop of b16a stamp

can anyone tell me what the numbers are that are located ontop of the engine stamp? where it says b16a2? thanks

this can be traced to the original car? my friend is debating on buying a motor that it looks like it was forged.

actually should i say below the b16a stamp. there is like a 6 or 7 digit number.

Yes, if it was orginally a USDM engine, the block number is directly related to the VIN number of the vehicle.
