Holy crap.
Guess it's not *that* bad though. A family member bought a 94 that was worse than that, and he got it looking showroom fresh in a few months.
Hope you know how to run a welder and a paint gun.

Re: RusTy Hunk oF cRap 94 PROJECT
I got this car for the challenge. i had the intention of buying a junk shell before i started looking. i didnt want something salvaged or with a bent frame. just something with a little body damage and cleaning up to do. i figure while im spending all my money and waiting for parts i can do some inexpensive body work while i wait.
My plans for this build are:
1. B18b1
2. Y80 gsr transmission with phantom grip lsd
3. Send the head for port and polish + new springs
4. Port intake
5. New plugs, wires, water pump, timing belt, etc.
6. New radiator support + radiator
7. Cut and weld every spot of rust + prep for paint
8. Replace the missing carpet and all other missing interior peices
9. Custom cat back
Undecided over:
A. Headers?
B. Keep ABS?
C. Keep power steering?
D. What ECU type to use
E. Weld over the tail lights on the deck lid
I paid 500 for this shell. im sure i paid a little too much but i was willing to. the best part about it to me is that its an EX and that it has OK suspension already. definitely needs some del sol rims

i don't see any thing wrong with this car. after all, 99% of all cars we buy used these days require some form of body work, might as well go the extra mile and knock out some rust. specially if you can get an over all clean shell minus the rust for super cheap.

I love patch panel projects!! looks like there is a little bit of bublage above that lower quarter hole but that may be surface rust. if your are getting patch panels you may as well cut that out 2

Re: RusTy Hunk oF cRap 94 PROJECT
i actually work at a salvage yard that specializes in hondas and acuras. im cutting and patching deep rust spots but surface rust im just gonna grind down. im getting all of my patch work from other junk cars. im laso thinking abut patching the tail lights in the trunk over to make it look more like an accord from the back. any suggestions? i havnt dont TOO much body work so im trying to get my foot in the door with this car.
