Default running open head

is it possible to damage your valves or anything internal engine wise while running with just ur headers and no exhaust what so ever?

Its fine, but it'll give off a smell, heat up under your car, and be crazy loud.

yea the loud part was cool but now its annoying. ok cuz i had a person tell me that running open head you could damage some of the valves cuz of the excessive back pressure

Lack off back pressue lol not excessive. and no it wouldn't.

I have heard in some instances where running an open header can risk "cooking" the exhaust valves. But I have not seen anything personally.

So why do you want to run off the headers and not put a pipe out the back or side at the minimum? even a piece of flex pipe would be better then nothing.
