ROUGH IDLE; ALMOST STALLS, Weird noise from exhaust
My car is a 95 civic 4 door 1.5.... Today i was getting off the highway and I felt a loss in power. And a weird noise was coming from my exhaust (sounds like a playing card in a bicycle spoke to best describe it)....My car idles very rough, it will nearly die, then rev back up, then back down to almost dead.... I replaced the MAP sensor, checked the oil level, also I pulled each plug wire from each spark plug...with each time the car almost dying so im thinking its not a foul plug/wire....could the timing be off somehow? They are doing road construction on the highway i was on, and maybe I bumped the distributor and therefore threw off the timing...please anyone help a Veteran and a newb to Hondas..

Im having the same problems. I was driving with a defective map sensor, it drove ok but it ran rich but when i purchased a new map sensor and installed it, thats when it started to idle rough... so i just unplugged it and it revved normal but it revs low when u first start it w/ out the map plugged in Just crappy gas milage...
