Rotational Steering Jerk On 97 DX
Ok guys i'm Stumped...
While driving my 97 DX about a month ago My Steering wheel began to jerk violently to the right any time i lifted my foot off the gas. We Tried replacing an all to beat ball joint. The Jerk presisted for about a day and then stopped. It stopped for a good two weeks, then began again today, but now its different. It jerks the wheel hard in both directions, its deffinitely rotational on account of the faster you go the faster it jerks and when you come to a stop it jerks very slow. It makes a very audible clunk as well.
We've discussed an axel, and a spider gear, and perhaps even a CV joint. What Do You Guys Think?
