Weights for Rota MSR:

15x6.5 - 16.9 lbs
16x7 - 17.2 lbs

They are heavier than the Sub-Zeros or Circuit 8's, but not by a whole lot.

actually
17lbs vs 12lbs (Rota SlipStream or C9 or Sub-Zero) is huge difference on a rim since the weight is a unsprung weight, which is 4x greater in effect then regular weight.....the difference is as much as adding 80lbs to the car vs the lightweight setup

means suspension, motor will have to work much harder....lightweight rims are like lightened flywheel...

trust me go with lightweight, otherwise you'll regret it...

First of all, let me correct my original post. I had originally posted the 16x7 MSR's as being 17.7 lbs, they are actually 17.2 lbs. I have updated my original post to reflect this.

yes, I know all about unsprung and rotational weight.

You are comparing different sizes of wheels. You were comparing the 16" MSR's against the 15" Slipstreams, C8's and Sub-Zeros.

16" MSR's weigh 17.2 lbs. 16" Sub-Zeros weigh 14.5 lbs. Yes this is still a significant difference, but not as much as the 17lbs vs 12lbs you were saying it was. But I agree, you will probably notice the difference.
