Re: rims or system (thefatskeleton)
I'm not gonna vote because I know that you know what you want to get first. And I think you should go with that.
I will say that if I were in your position, I would get rims because a system will only weigh down the car.

not going to vote, but if you are going for performance, get the rims as long as they aren't heavier than your stock wheels, but if you just care about your driving experience from point a to b, you can't see the rims from the inside of the car... like the guy above me said... you know what you want... get it

Because they look sexy on some cars. I have your current wheels and wouldn't sell them for the world right now. Then again, I did drive with steelies for almost 10 months so they were a very nice step up.

Re: rims or system (thefatskeleton)
buy rims, and sell your SI rims to me
btw if ur car is not lowered, it wont look right with rims hehe, rims atually add more fender gap...usually if not already done invest in lowering, u get the cool stance, plus handling if done right...
anyway..how much for the SI rims?

Re: rims or system (Jay-Dee-Em)
i feel guilty not helpin a fellow racer out....
dude obviously ur not in the know....the rims currently stock on your 99 civic SI are highly sought after in the jdm (but not limited to) community....they are clean looking and sexy and a lot of ppl put them on the 92-95 civic coupes/hb..
with a nice drop they look perfect in a lot of ppl's eyes...
...it's ok we all learn something new every once in a while....
and watever you do steer clear of clear lights hehe, and fog lights, and hid lights, and winshield wiper lights and valvle stem cover lights....all oem lights should be fine hehe

uhhhhhhhhhhh Si wheels are anything BUT jdm, if they were I would not have them on my car.
People put Si wheels on EVERY car, not just 92-95 civics.
Fog lights and HIDs are actually very nice things to add to cars. They both serve a purpose. They might not help the "everyday racer" but they do improve visability trumendously.(sp)
