It could be a scam, maybe not. I don't think this is the correct forum for this but...

Is it a good rim? That depends on what you want to use it for....a 20" chrome wheels with spinners is good for a show SUV and a 15" flat black wheel is good for auto-x. It depends on your application.

I have never seen this rim, nor do I care to. Do what you want, its your car. If he is selling them on HT ask for his vouch thread, where is the link to his classified?

This belongs in the A/C forum. I would not put 17s on a civic and neither would 90% of the people here...try clubsi.com for stuff like that.

If they are the flat black 6-spoke Icons, they look great, but they are heavy as ****!!!

Our local Nopi warehouse has one on display on their showroom floor, and while it looks lightweight it certainly is not. The 15'' wheel weighs about 16-17lbs.

Then again you might be talking about a different wheel?

Yeah I just now saw the link with the pic.

Those wheels suck *****. They are heavy as ****, and I doubt they are high quality seeing as how they are APC.

I hate to sound so cliche' but you need to look at Rota wheels. I hear that http://www.modacar.com and http://www.machiii.net have great deals.

Rota > APC

Try reading that post above where I give you links to sites that sell Rota wheels for cheap.

If you look hard you can get 15'' Rotas for abour $400.00 or so, then add some cheap 195/50/15 tires for another $200.00 or so and you have wheels and tires for $600.00 that are not total **** like APC.
