rice or not tv in dash

Re: rice or not tv in dash (tshaw)
Its pretty easy to do if you buy the resin then it basically says the instructions just basically mix resin and hardner and put onto mat and brush on and be sure not to have bubbles. Haha also be sure it isnt freezing out its about 10 degrees here and i have a portable heater inside my car. O and its messy when you start sanding it smooth and always have gloves on when you are doing it. If i can get my gfs digital camera ill post some pics of my progress so far

I like mine.... Plus with the player I have it will play vcd and svcd so I can take any video I download off of here or wherever and make a vcd and play it in the car and it is pretty good quality.

Might want to check the forum guidlines. This is kind of a no no
7. This is NOT a place for asking what is or is not ricey. I am sick of the term itself, and I am even more sick of why anyone gives a damn if a certain part is ricey or not. Also there will be no more "look at this rice" crap in here either. All it is is a chance for people to post ***** and it accomplishes nothing more than making GOOD topics sink to the bottom of the heap.

All depends, if i could hook up some sort of lcd screen that tells me the specs on my engine at that time (i cant find the right words now) say like engine temp, boost, rpms, fuel ratio ect. would i, yes. If it's just for entertainment, probablly not. But if you use it and you like it, go for it. Your car, your money. Good luck with your choice

thats a nice setup you have there civiksiracer1
looks like it was meant to be there.
And Ricey McRicerton if your so tired of it why do you use it in your screen name???haha just a question
I say go for it not rice at all, if you have the money do it. Not everyone is just out to go fast. I think indash's are pretty cool features to have in a car

Only problem with getting it installed in the front dash area is that in some states (USA), like California, it is illegal for the car to be in motion while viewing media. I've got the Gathers Clarion DV925 in dash lcd dvd in my Del Sol and its nice to watch music videos while driving. (Get Tupac w/ Kc & JoJo's "How do you want it" xxx version and Neptunes "Lapdance" xxx version, bad *** music videos)
