RHD del Sol Project! Just starting, will continue to post updates!
Hey all, new member here and this is my very first post. Over the next few months (years) I will be doing a del sol RHD project. I have read up on many threads on this, but this will be my first attempt.
If anyone has any ideas/guidance it will be much appreciated! I bought this 1994 EG2 VTEC shell the other day, and finally was able to drag it home. I didn't have anything set in stone for drive train, but I was thinking NA b16 of some sort. Any recommendations would be great!
So before I even start turning a wrench on this project, I don't know if I want to do the method of basically cutting out my old firewall and replacing it with the RHD clip (which I still need), or to basically cut the car in half, and re weld and re-attach everything. If anyone has any experience on which would be more efficient/safer that would be great! Many updates to come!

Also, sorry for the sideways picture, still trying to figure this stuff out.
The car was in an accident, so will need a radiator support if i decide to go the firewall route. Frame horns look un damagaed.

I have a del Sol too, its my second one
I would just do the firewall swap and replace the core support. Cutting the car in half and rewelding sounds a bit dangerous but I. Sure its been done before.

Yeah, I think I am going to go with the firewall swap, seems easier and safer.
And I want to do it because I have personally never seen one done in real life, and I would like this build to be inspiring, not inspired. Also I'm from Wisconsin, and a buddy of mine converted his EK civic to RHD. He says there's no legal issue here, has been driving it for years and not a problem.

Here in Russia RHD cars were very popular (it was cheap to buy them in Japan) but there are not to much RHD to LHD projects (only rear subaru or nissans). And to do this kind of swap a lot of paper work requires and job has to be done in certified workshop.

Welcome to the sol owners club m8.
I would start looking for half cuts of a Sol Sir, then you have everything you need regardless of how you go about the conversion. Firewall, core support, subframe, hood, bumper, ex. May even get some edm fogs out of the deal.
:Edit:
do you need a different rack?
