Well i agree w/ the 7500 comments.. that is where mine goes 2.. i have seen some people w/ stock blocks go well past that for quite some time.. Those are the people that get used to it and then are suprised when it does go up in pieces.. A local shop turboed his crvtec.
stock block and stock b16head reved far to high 9000 + granted it was cool to watch until he changed the oil and then started it up. KABOOM!! and to this day he blames the oil change! LOL

some find conceptualizing motor design and troubleshooting it very difficult and I don't blame them. but where there is desire to learn... significant returns, lets just say that.
just wondering if anybody's got experience with b20b sleeve strength. Im wondering what's safe for a b20 in terms of the max cpr from an aftermarket forged piston that it can hold. im imagining a built type r head with 11.7 pistons 84 or 84.5mm bore for an N/A street setup.
