Default Results of a bad TPS

I'm still having an idel problem. Car idels high then low, high then low...etc. Think it could be my TPS? Please help me out, this is really annoying. Didnt do this until I put the new TB on.

any CEL?
did you calibrate the TPS?

it could be a nasty vacuum leak or a tps problem.

just put a cover sheet on it

Anyway, I had the same problem and it turned out to be a dirty filter on my IACV. Clean that filter with some brake cleaner and you should be golden. If that doesn't work let me know, I saved the other stuff people told me to check if it didn't work.

I checked for a vacumm leak by spraying carb cleaner around the tb and sensors. The idel didnt get higher so.. no leak.

It didnt do it before I put the TB on though. Thats why I think its the TPS.

The IACV is a little contraption on the back of the intake manifold... it has 2 bolts. Pull it off, remove the gasket, put some brake cleaner on a rag, rub the filter. It should look much cleaner. Re-attach IACV and go.

Even if you don't think it's the IACV it's worth the 5 minute it takes to clean it, ya never know, it could be the issue.

My car idel is gay!!!! 800 to 1100, 1100 to 800, then keeps doing that! Sounds like a clunker!

ya it's pretty much the only thing back there... mine is a metal piece with some black plastic thing on the end of it. it has two lines attached, I think they both held coolant.

Thing that sucks is it didnt do this until I put the aftermarket TB on. Thats whats making me mad. I about to go get a diagnostics ran on it.
