Results from attempted install of Integra GSR brakes on 92-93 Si knuckles.
I had created a thread asking if anyone had attempted to install the hub assembly with caliper brackets and calipers on a 92-9 Si and no one said it had been attempted.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/1994-integra-gs-r-calipers-rotors-1992-civic-si-knuckles-2754227/
Everyone had said you have to use the knuckle as well. While my findings supported this and it's of no surprise to anyone but I though there is something interesting about what I found.
I installed the hub and rotor from a 1994 Integra GSR onto my 92 Si knuckle and it fit just they way it should. It was important to use the hub to properly locate the rotor's distance/spaceing to the caliper. This is why the Integra has a different wheel offset than the Civic.
The only difference between the 92-93 Si knuckle and the Integra Knuckle is, besides the ABS attributes is the Integra knuckles distance of the flange for the bracket to bolt up to extend further out than the Civic, see below.
If a person wanted to install GSR brakes on their 92-95 Civic they could use the hub, caliper and bracket and have a simple adapter extension made to properly space the caliper and bracket from the outer edge of the rotor.
This is the ONLY issue, the caliper bracket and caliper come in contact with the outer edge of the rotor.
Sorry I don't have more illustrations for this post but I will be doing and in depth write up when I have the bracket made.

so are you planning on making a simple bracket to mount the integra brakes on the civic knuckles? I had to run an assortment of front end components for my front suspension due to axle requirements and am stuck with crappy eg small rotors on my integra. You know its bad when your front and rear brakes are the same size.

I know little about the 4 lug serums but I do know this. Rotor diameter goes up in 20mm increments on Hondas (meaning caliper distance change in 10mm increments). You have to think metric on Japanese vehicles. There were crap model Civics that pulled the mounting tabs in 10mm from most 4 lug model Hondas/Acuras. This can be countered by using a caliper bracket that extends 10mm beyond all other setups. Essentially, I'm saying to go up one caliper size for the low end Civics of the 90's. This info is not new. Look up BrakeExpert's posts on here.
The same applied to 5 lugs except I don't believe any knuckles pulled the caliper inwards. Lots of interchangeable brackets between calipers. Remember brackets change in 10pm increments and a lot are compatible with different OEM calipers.
