Resonator on Stock Air box, restrict airflow alot or not?
Does the Resonator, in the bumper well, restrict the airflow enough to cuase a loss in power with a K&N filter?
Im thinkin of usin the stock box w/K&N, instead of Short Ram, cus of a water problem and my hood. Basically, Im tryin to decide what setup to use with the Stock.
Thanks.

Most will say yes . I chopped my resonator the first day I got my EX . As far as it restricting air flow . I feel why the hell not , if your gonna put a High flow filter in it , you might as well cut some of the plastic out of the tract and let air flow easier into it . You will notice more of an improvement if you add an exhaust system to the filter and chopping of the resonator .

thats what i did, took out the resonator, but i replaced the intake tube with a carbon fiber tube and connected it with the stock box.

The resonator won't increase or hurt performance. It's just on there for sound deadening. The filter is the main thing- replace it and you're good to go.
