Default Replacing struts

Hey guys, as some of you might recall, i just posted something about my dad buying me front struts, and now i am here to ask a question, im pretty sure i know how to take the struts out, but im not for sure, is it just as easy as taking the 2 bottom bolts out, and then pulling the 3 nuts off up-top in the engine bay? or is there any special step i have to do to get these bad boys off?

and another thing, when i got my car it came with a set of coilovers(not sure what kind they are, but they are brand new) but theres no instructions, so do you guys know where i migth eb able to find some instructions on how to put them on, or is it self explanitory, and if it is, what are the rubber o-rings for that came with them? theres about 16 or something like that i think

I am in the same process of replacing my struts. Each car differs a little bit, but on my 94 civic, I had to take off the brake lines that were attached to the strut. Then, there is a bolt that holds the strut in place and another bolt near the bottom. I took these off and than took off the top nuts in the engine bay. Used a lot of power to take out the strut. If you car is pretty old, I recommend you be super careful with the bolts used. It is possible that you break the bolts. It happened to me yesterday after throwing in some F2 suspension for a friend of mine in his prelude.

go to kragen, buy the repair manual for your car for 20 bucks and know exactly how to take them out step by step with pictures.

Nice job on the struts. Most people will tell you a mini-me swap isnt worth the money. If your looking for some real power. Rebuild the motor you have now internals and put a turbo on there. Sure it will cost you a bit more, need to know alot about cars, but you will be happier in the end. If you really want the mini-me swap there is a "how-to" in the FAQ thread up top. There are also some nice Forced Induction forums on here and other web forums.
