Just put in my DC2 recaros and the rear right bolt(the fat one) dosnt go back in because of the depth of the rail. Anyone know where I can find a replacement that might be longer, or the size of the bolt?

Re: Replacement bolt for JDM DC2 Recaros? (WR93EG)
The seats (in case anyone cares)
The back right hole with no bolt in it
The bolt itself (too short)
is it even worth bothering to find a replacement, the other 3 bolts are in and the seats seem planted. Any help appreciated, thanks.

I have my driver side seat with only 3 bolts, it holds up fine.

hit up home depot, i just put my racing seats in and needed a longer bolt so i could put the 4 pt. harness' in also, found one there for the side your talking about
and thats not a good idea only having 3 bolted down, when it comes to safety you shouldn't cut corners

no....3 bolts won't hold fine. If they did...then Honda would only have 3 bolts in for safety crashes
You want the weight to transfer evenly across the rails, and with only 3 in...you're going to flex a lot. I don;'t care what it feels like taking a corner at 25 mph, cause when you get in a head-on at 75...it MIGHT be a littler different.
Go to a hardware store and get a longer bolt

If you're talking about the bolt that is larger than the other 3, it's a 10x1.25 fine thread. The others are 8x1.25 fine thread. IIRC.

3 bolts is enough... BUT if the missing bolt is the inside rear bolt, then you are going to get fucked up in an accident.
That bolt is the fattest of all the bolts for a reason. The reason is that the seatbelt buckle is on the inside rear of the seat.
When you crash into something, your weight of your body is transferred forward. Your seatbelt locks, and that energy is transferred to the seatbelt. Because you are missing THAT bolt, you will expend all of the energy there.
This probably means that you will peel the seat from the floor and your seatbelt looses its effectiveness.
Of all 4 bolts, THAT one is the most important.
Goto any good hardware store and get a GRADE 8 or better bolt.
