Removing a stain?
It may be kinda a dumb question but hey, I gotta know haha. Not sure what the stain is, I'm thinking it's like grease or something. Basically, a 6" stain on the inside of my car. Where the sunroof should be and so on. What I'm asking is what do you guys use to remove these sort of stains? (I've seen a lot on TV but yeah, I don't trust the media as much)

The typical material used on the roof, I'm not sure specifically what it is called, but it isn't leather. It looks like just regular cloth or something. I'm not sure exactly.

You'd be suprized what kind of stains simple green gets out. I actually wash any clothes I get oil, grease, dirt, or any car fluids on with half a cup of simple green.

If it is cloth, I say take a brush, even a tooth brush would work, and something like simple green and scrub it. I use **** from my work to clean stuff, they don't sell it in stores, but I say check your local car supply store for interior cleaners.

I'm aware that the "cloth" no idea what it is, is very thin. I'll just use a tiny toothbrush and wash it. (Hopefully I wont screw it up )

Alright, I bought some simple green yesterday at smart & final. HUGE box it said "SIMPLE GREEN" it was A HUGE ile with nothing but it. I applied it t the stain. IT WENT AWAY. It's just the glue went off =[ sadly. It's still in good condition though. All the stains went away except this permantent marker on the side of my dash. But dang, Simple Green really works, you pour it in a bucket of water mix it up, and apply it. Poof, it goes away. It didn't really work on plastic, it worked real well on the actual cloth. What those guys said earlier, be careful the glue is like really sensitive. I'm not sure how to even apply it without messing up the glue. YES, I used a toothbrush.

Re: (EK9Tune)
You can get headliner glue at an autoparts store. Just very very very very carefully pull away the closest corner to the stain, and peel it away till you get to where the stain was.
Then, reglue the are you removed, and tack it back up.

Haha, that's a lot of work, the stains went away just fine. You can't really notice them til you really look at it. It's just theres writing on the dashboard and it won't go away. (Sharpies :[)
