If you run your finger nail over the scratch and it gets caught, you really can't do anything about it.

And if you can't feel it, then you should be able to just rub out the scratch.

not entirely true, if you have some patience and maybe a steady hand, you could touch up any scratch.

before any of this buy some wax remover and make sure any wax/oil is not present, i usually use a duplicolor prep wipe (i have a ton), they work well and can be purchased from any auto store.

first you need to go to honda and get the correct touch up paint for your car. then you need to get 1500 grit sandpaper, 2000 grit sandpaper, small rubber sanding block, 3M scratch remover (grey bottle..can be bought at pep boys, advance...) and your favorite polish & wax. first fill in the scratch with light coats (hence the steady hand), letting each coat dry in between coats until the scratch is filled just above the level of your paint. (this may take a few days...hence the patience). be sure not to overdue the amount of paint on the brush, it doesnt have to be applied smooth...you'll be sanding it. if this is going to be applied to small scratches/chips, i've found that the bottom of a match from a matchbook works well as an applicator. once that is done, take the 1500 grit sandpaper, place it on the sanding block and WET sand the scratch until it is practically level with your paint. be very careful not to press too hard and dont sand more of your paint then you need to. now switch to the 2000 grit and wet sand again until it looks like it should. then use the 3M scratch remover which will remove scratches caused by 1500 grit+ sandpaper and polish it until it's shiny. follow that with a straight polish from your favorite company and finish with a coat of wax

hope i didnt miss anything
sorry for the crude writeup, hope this helps.
