Removing power stirring!!!!!
I have a 95 SI hatchback and I've been thinking about taking the power stirring out. Will I need some parts or not and do you think its a good idea thaking it out. Some people said its a good weight reduction and eg doesn't need it since they are so light to begin with.

Power stirring? whats that? are you making milkshakes or something?
You should do a search, there was a good thread on this not too long ago. Or was it under the FAQ thread at the top? search both, plenty of good info.

I removed the power steering in my old EJ. i just put some fluid in the line and looped the line back together that way there was fluid there for the rack.

Yeah a search would be good...but look up the spelling before you search. Otherwise you'll never get results

Re: Removing power stirring!!!!! (JDM16HB)
I took out the PS in my EK about two years ago. It's a great and easy way to improve the feel and feedback in your steering (and adds a couple HP across the range)
For my setup, I just looped the lines, on the rack there is an IN and an OUT.
I had to buy a hydraulic fitting (M14x1.5 -> 3/8" BARB fitting) for the IN or OUT (forgot which one). I think if you run a search, you should be able to find more details on it.
