What kind of car? I think typically the bumper needs to be removed and I'm sure there's a how-to in the archives. Tried searching?

There are 5 bolts I believe that hold your headlights on. 2 up on the top, 2 on the bottom with a black metal piece that you remove, and a third one to the right, and near the center of the bumper where you will need an extension to get to. I will provide pics if I ever find my camera.

There was a thread recently on the eg if you search. If it is an ek then there will be 4 bolts. And yes, you will need to remove your bumper either way. If you provide us more detail as to your car, we will be able to help better.

i removed my headlights yesterday on my eg without taking off the bumper. all i did was take off the 5 or so bolts that held them in, then slid them out. ad to maneuver them a lil bit but they came right out.
