Removing the inner circle lights of a del sol for intake?
Do you guys think it would be functional or just retarded to remove the two front circle lights on the inside of your head lights in favor of a ram air type intake? Would this help performance at all? Incase you don't quite get what I mean here's a pic, I saw a 'Sol on here with them removed but I dunno if it was for this or not.

probably wouldn't do much at all. you'd have better luck removing your passenger side headlight at the track.

I wanna keep it 100% street legal. If I go to a track I don't wanna have to spend time unscrewing my headlight before I race and then spend more time when it's time to drive home putting it back in. Wouldn't removing one (or both so it's even at least) net near the same advantage as removing a headlight?

Well your airfilter is on the passangersite, and so is your radiator just behind the inner headlight.
So you can remove it and try to place your filter there, or get a hose which goes directly to your filter, but then still you ratiator would be in the way.
Just go for a CAI for racing, and save your WAI for the wet season when you're not racing anyway.

It's not gonna be "ram air" and you probably won't even notice any performance increase (if there even is any at all).
Go with a street legal intake.

If you were to take out the aux. lights the radiator is still in the way to give you a strait shot. Don't think it will really help you too much...

I made a cut out headlight using a broken accord headlight and put it on my old accord, and I felt a BIG difference. even bigger difference when I was going over 70mph. but like other poeple are saying the radiatior will be in the way so I don't think it will work. you can just make an ice box system and get simualr results, and have the ice box snorkel peek out from your grill.
