Buy a high flow cat and be environmentally responsible. Test pipes are ok for track use, but you can get the same performance from a high flow cat.

That'd be the absolute last thing I'd do if I were you, especially if you are OBDII with 2 O2 sensors.......

I have had my hollowed out cat for about 3 years now , when first it was on my stock dx motor, and it helped out a little in top end, but then I sucked water through my intake and then got a ZC(sohc vtec) and blew that one.

Finally now I have a b18c1 swap and can tell pretty good on how much it helps in the highway.

It may make your exhaust sound a louder and a little raspy and it losses your back pressure and depending on what your car is used for may be good or bad in some cases.

better off with a high flow cat. but if you like killing little animals and poisoning the air then remove it
