Reminder - ARP wheel studs for hondas
I noticed some people are still using the late model chevy/corvette ARP wheel studs, with the incorrect knurl diameter. I went to order some, and found that they make a honda specific stud now. The problem with using the chevy studs is that the knurl diameter is slighty larger. It's not the end of the world, but if your hubs are newer, you could run the risk of putting extra stress around the holes. The other good part about the honda studs, that I noticed is that the end is unthreaded, so you can turn the lug nuts on easier. This may not seem like a big deal, but it comes in handy, especially for those of you that track your car often and change wheels alot.
I haven't installed them yet, as I am having some serious problems tracking down open ended lug nuts with stock honda (ball) seats, for use with stock wheels. When I find the nuts, I will install them and post a write up. Until then, here is some pictures.
Comparison to stock stud. A little longer than what I need right now, but stronger and cheaper than stock studs, so it works.

Re: (gaydm.accord)
too bad i didnt know they had honda ones beforehand when installing them on my gf's car. i bought the chevy ones since alot of ppl are running them.
ended up grinding the holes bigger, and then spot welding them on the back to hold them in place.

There like $12 for 4, try one of the honda-tech sponsors, I thought summit would have them, but I just checked and they dont. I got mine locally.

I heard about these a while back and asked a local authorized dealer about them "King Bolt" (if you are in the covina area) and they couldn't get any info on them...... anyway, why the short 5th stud? is it there just for fun?

ahhhh... upon scrutiny of the picture, I can now tell it is not included in the packaging... In the top pic (which is the one I glanced at) it looks like it came with the set.

Re: Reminder - ARP wheel studs for hondas (ian)
$12 for 4 is a really good deal. Everywhere I've seen them they were $80 for a set of 16. The stock studs are only $3 a piece ($48 for the whole set). So they're not cheaper than stock, but definately better and a must have if you're useing slicks .

yup, these studs will work with any wheel out there, as long as you use the proper lug nuts for the wheels. Here's a link where 1fastvx posted the right lug nuts you need, $.90 each at honda. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=819103
