? regarding ITR exhaust on an EG
I was told that the ITR exhaust would fit on my EG but the muffler would have to be modified, what exactly has to be done to the muffler? I 've also been told that I would not be able to use a swaybar if I put the itr muffler on.
Also if any body has done this or has seen it on an eg how does it look?
PS. did a search nothing came up

Re: ? regarding ITR exhaust on an EG (Canttx)
I am using the mid pipe for sure, but i was just wondering what was needed to fit the muffler. I am thinking of either buying an axel back or using the itr muffler.

it must be cool because it will not give you any power increase, I just wonder why so many people are doing this conversion, seems like a waste of time.

true it wouldn't increase power as much as an aftermarket catback, however like 01VaS2K said noise is a factor. This is why I am considering this option.
also the ITR exhaust flows alot better than my si pipe.

It might flow better, but pipe size matters alot. Seems like its a "cool" thing to do just because its an "ITR exhaust" Thats my opinion though.

I have an ITR cat back exhaust on my EG. We had to cut off 3-4" of the tube behind the muffler to get it to fit. It fits really nicely once it's shorten, pretty much the entire tip sticks out... looks pretty cool. I have don't any pics to put up on the web yet, but it can be done pretty easily with a cut/weld.

i also have an itr muffler on my hatch. i went with the itr for the sound issue, i bought an hks hyper and thought i was going to go def. so i sold the rear section and went with the itr, the shop had no problems getting it to work but it is very close. i did cut the tip so it wouldnt stick out, if not your left with 4 inches of tip sticking out behind the bumper. also i noticed no power difference between the hks and itr.

Talk to KiwiGreenHybrid on this board and he will show you his, he has an ITR exhaust on his 5th gen coupe hybrid. I see alot of VA guys here, anyone know of a muffler shop in VA that will do custom mandrel exhaust pipes? I need a 3" b-pipe made for my hatch.

Re: ? regarding ITR exhaust on an EG (MiGs)
Thanks for the replies guys.
jdmEG: I picked mine up for about $300 cdn
jdmeg6: Got any pics?
I am debating whether or not to sell the itr muffler and buy a custom axel back that looks stock.
I know people with coupes and integras will definately buy it, i am thinking of this option rather than cutting the itr muffler

BTW, I still feel you should just buy a friggin catback, and stop being such a penny pincher, speed costs money, do it right. do you think ITR owner use a stock exhaust?? no, so why should you want their left overs?

Quit yer bitchin', *******.
BTW, If you install the ITR exhaust, you'll have a hell of a time installing a rear swaybar. Once I get her on track, I'm going to decide if I need more oversteer and if so, I'll sell the exhaust and install a rear swaybar.

Re: ? regarding ITR exhaust on an EG (DragIIcivic)
Ok first of all DragIIcivic I dont appreciated u callin me a penny pincher, since when do you tell me what to do with my car? I came on this board to get an answer to a question. The reason I want to use the ITR exhaust is because I don't want to be harassed by police because of my exhaust. ok. I am thinking of using the b pipe and an aftermarket axel back. If this becomes a problem in the future regarding performance then i will change to a full catback, but right now i prefer to keep my car quiet.
I am not trying to start ****. so don't take it personally.
