Refrigerant Oil. where? how?
Hey guys, I'm replacing my evaporator and expansion valve and my manual says to add 1.5 oz of PAG 46 oil when replacing the evaporator, and my question is where do I add this oil? my stepdad says somewhere in the compressor, but where and how exactly? is there a cap that you simply take out and add PAG oil?
I searched, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you could just put it right on in with the low side tube because the refrigerant and oil move through the a/c system together basically go hand and hand.

Many cans of refrigerant already include lubricating oil, so it would just go in the low-side fitting as you're filling the system.
