redoing my timing
is there a certain way your suppose to do timing on a sohc motor? or a method that would help? plus, how you suppose to see if your cam gear lines line up when you have to look at it in an angle?

take your number one piston spark plug out and put a long thin sumthing what ever you got and turn the crank until it gets to the top then losen your belt tensioner which should be a 14 then take the belt off the cam gear and it should have writing on it one that says up and two arrows on the side line the two on the side with the head and up facing up put the belt back on when you put it back on it should be loos on the side facing the headlights just make sure your wrench is turned to were you loosen bolts and put it on the crank which i think it is a 17 then turn it until the belt gets tight on that end then it should be loose on the other end all you got to do now is tighten the tensioner and it will tighten the belt car should crank up unless you have a shaved head o and the tensioner is below the motor mount on the side facing the fire wall all this typing just for 4 steps hu
