thats mine - high temp paint from auto zone. its good to 1200 degrees according to the can. i just put a little vaseline on the letters (make sure it only gets on the top of the letters) let it completely dry, then bust out a razor blade and trim the paint away.

the wrinkle paint would make it really easy i guess, but i used reg hi temp paint like hardcorehonda. u just gotta be patient and just mist it from a distance. dont get up coat the whole thing in paint, just let the spray settle lightly in many coats. finishing with a misting of clearcoat keeps the texture nice and adds a nice touch to it.

Re: red SOHC valve cover (Ricey McRicerton)
Now I have to get one. I've tried to polish mine with no avail. The cover is a good option considering mine doesn't even have "VTEC" written anywhere.. Just "HONDA" and it looks pretty shitty. 97 EX Coupe, hell Accords have cool little head covers..Why can't I?

if u dont wanna bother scraping or sanding off the paint after it dries, u can use chapstick/vaseline or some other waxy equivalent on the letters first. with the paint sitting on top of this, even after the paint dries, u can just wipe it away and clean up the edges if necessary.
