Recommended Clutch Kits....
So I gotta rebuild my clutch I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a kit?
Also can anyone describe what kinda sound it would make if my Throw Out Bearring was messed up, because I think it is.

I have an exedy stage 1 and a ACT prostreet flywheel. I like it alot. Its good for pretty stock applications.
Clutch pedal is still pretty light and its very drivable.

That's not entirely true. I have a Stage 4 1620 Competition Clutch and it has the feel of a stock pedal.
To OP: what kind of car and do you have any mods? When a throw out bearing is messed up, you hear a scratching sound coming from the transmission with the clutch out in neutral. When you push in the clutch, the sound should go away.

Yup thats my throw out bearing then, that's what I thought.
I'll prolly go with the Stage 1...Thanks fellas.
97 Civic EK...No big mods, DC Headers-Greddy Exhaust-Intake, Ect. Nothing to serious.

I have another question...Anyone know how much it usually cost to get a Clutch and Throw out bearing replaced? Any mechanics that can give me an estimate?
Thats with purchase and the work?
