recomended radiator forb18C1 + autocross in EJ1
Hey hi im pretty new here and i was wondering about what radiator would i be recommended to buy. This is my plataform: ej1 with a gsr engine going to be swapped in a week. Ill be getting my b18c1 engine but i know the D series radiator doest really fit the b series hoses. This car will be used for autoX and as a DD and i wanted to get the appropiate radiator for this description. It will be mostly used for DD but i like to rip somewhat often with friends aT the autoX. Not sure if i should get the half size or full size. I know the AC will be gona is full size is the answer, not a problem.

I used a Fluidyne one for the civic. Also, I didn't really understand your last sentence. Doesn't really make any sense, but yeah. Go with an Integra or Civic Fluidyne one.

With A/C:
Pretty much most aftermarket Koyo/CSF radiators will be for the "automatic" application which is twice as thick as the stock manual version. You could always ask for 99-00 Civic Si just to be on the safe side.
Without A/C:
94-01 Integra, any model
Problem here is that you will need to reloacte the lower radiator mounting feet that are spot welded to the front core support/cross member. If you aren't handy with a welder you can attecpt to use self tapping bolts to reattach the lower feet, but welding is definately the best/most permanent way to attach them to the core support/cross member.
As far as the Integra radiator hoses "not fitting" stock Civic radiator inlets/outlets that's what screw-type hose clamps are for. My wife had a 1992 Si HB with a B16A2 swap and we auto-X'd it for years with the stock single row, half sized radiator with ZERO overheating issues. We took that car on numerous out of town 350+mile eash way trips in the summer with the A/C on, and again no overheating - ever.
What I'm saying is the stock Civic radiator can and will work just fine, but if you want bling-bling go for an Integra radiator and no A/C. I'm too old to ever build another car without A/C.
