Default Rebuilding my $1 Z6

I have no clue what all needs to be done to this engine.. It has 200k miles on it, and I have no clue of the condition of the engine..

I was told that rebuilding the block was something I should leave to professionals.

Does anyone know of a shop in the TN,KY,IN Area that would rebuild the block for a reasonable price?

Also, Is there a huge level of difficulty in rebuilding the head?

Too tired to search, But I couldn't find anything On rebuilding the block so i posted it up..

I need my sol running again

Buying a new motor is the cheapest way out, they are a dime a dozen neways ... but if you seriously wanna build it up for turbo, ur looking at a lot of cash heh... prolly around 3 grand + ...

So depends what u wanna do. There is NO POINT to rebuild it back to stock tho, that'd be retarded. As stated b4, just buy a new block.

what's up man. Yeah just get a new motor. Sohc are cheap. But the best performance place here in town is definatly speedwerks. Eric is the man, seriously go talk to him, if you're gonna spend some money, let him handle it, he'll make sure your taken care of. good luck

Thats where I went to find out that Rod #4 spun a rod bearing while my girl was driving like an idiot (shifted from 5th to 2nd at about 70mph)

Anyways.. I will have to save for the new motor.. I can part together the parts to build the z6 for turbo.. He said it would be about $435 (JDM D15) for the engine.. I have my own trans, and another if mine isn't good enough..

Either way.. I guess im out for a month.. lol
